ELOHIM WANTS TO MAKE HIS HOME IN YOU

Joh 10:9-10

(9)  I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

(10)  The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

§  JESUS IS THE DOOR

§  Enter by Me : you will be saved

§  JESUS came to give LIFE : “ABUNDANT LIFE”

§  Thief: COMES: -> TO STEAL, TO KILL, TO DESTROY

WHAT IS ELOHIM’S DESIRE?

Joh 14:21-23

(21)  He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."

(22)  Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?"

(23)  Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

è We will come to him and make Our home with him.

John 3:16

(16)  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,

§  whoever believes in Him

è should not perish

è have everlasting life.

that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

BELIEVING in JESUS

Believe WHAT?

BELIEVE in the sacrifice of JESUS on the CROSS and HIS RESURRECTION

the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection is enough for your salvation -we need to BELIEVE

It is enough for all your healings

It is enough to overcome all problems and storms

It is enough to live thru this life on earth

Then

why I can’t see breakthrus?

Why I can’t receive healing?

Why I can’t have a happy marriage?

Why I can’t have a breakthrough in my work?

Why I can’t have a breakthrough in my ministry?

Why I can’t have a breakthrough in finance?

John 3:17-18

(17)  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

(18)  "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

§  JESUS didn’t come to CONDEMN

§  JESUS came TO SAVE

§  When we BELIEVE WHATEVER JESUS IS SAYING :             WE WILL NOT BE CONDEMN

§  WHEN WE DON’T BELIEVE:         we bring condemnation to ourselves

Why do we feel condemned?

Example:            we like something or we want something

                               And Jesus or His Word says: “you need to wait or this is not the one”

                               Because we refuse to believe that JESUS ONLY GIVES THE BEST

                               And we are convinced that what we have is better than what Jesus can give.

                               So WE allow fear to creep in like the theif.

                               Note:    Thief comes to steal, kill and destroy

                                                                Then we will condemn

So whose fault is it that condemnation and fear has come in?

è We have allowed it : because we doubted (didn’t believe)

§  We didn’t believe that Jesus loves us more than anything and He gives us the best.

§   We also deserve the best: why?

                      WE ARE HIS SON ISAAIH 49:153)     FORVIGING OTHERS WILL HELP US SUCCEED

Heb 12:13-15

(13)  Keep walking on straight paths, so that the lame foot may not be disabled, but instead be healed.

(14)  Try to be at peace with everyone, and try to live a holy life, because no one will see the Lord without it.

(15)  Guard against turning back from the grace of God. Let no one become like a bitter plant that grows up and causes many troubles with its poison.

  Walking on straight paths                                     brings healing

  Being peace with everyone                                   able to see the Lord

  Don’t turning back from grace                SUCCEED IN EVERYTHING

                      (don’t allow bitterness to grow)                 

è Rom 8:14-15

è (14)  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

è (15)  For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

§  We need to be led by the Spirit of God: these are SONS OF ELOHIM.

-demonstration: difference between “ fill with spirit” and “led by the spirit”

§  You have received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

OBEDIENCE is the key:

Heb 5:8

(8)  though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.

->            though He was Son of Elohim n God Himself

JESUS DECIDED TO BE OBEDIENT

§  When you become His SON:  don’t let fear control you,

BITTERNESS

Matthew 6:14-15

Ver 14   states that if we forgive others the wrongs they have done to us,

è                 our Father God in heaven will also forgive us.

Note:   

                A person's sin is not forgiven just because the offended person forgives us.

                Forgiveness is in the Lord Jesus Christ.

               

Eph 4:30-32

(30)  And do not make God's Holy Spirit sad (grieve);

for the Spirit is God's mark of ownership on you, a guarantee that the Day will come when God will set you free.

(31)  Get rid of all bitterness, passion, and anger. No more shouting or insults, no more hateful feelings of any sort.

(32)  Instead, be kind and tender-hearted to one another,

§  the HOLY SPIRIT is ELOHIM's mark of OWNERSHIP on you

è SHOW WE ARE ELOHIM’S

è DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT

è OBEDIENCE is the key

Believers MUST FORGIVE others because God has forgiven us from all our sins.

FORVIGING OTHERS WILL HELP US SUCCEED

Heb 12:13-15

§  Walking on straight paths :          what is this straight paths  (Psalm 1:1-3, Joshua 1: 6-9)

è JESUS’S WORD MUST BE THE ONLY FOUNDATION

è brings healing:   foot will not  be disable

§  Being peace with everyone                                        

è able to see the Lord

§  Don’t turning back from grace:  OBEDIENCE to HIS WORD

è don’t allow bitterness to grow

don’t allow pride to grow.  don’t let lust to grow

it is in your hands to decide:        choose “TO BE THE TREE OF LIFE”

WHO IS DWELLING IN YOUR HEART ?

BE THE TREE OF LIFE

Elohim’sCreation is always good:

God’s plan is always is good

Gen 1:11-12

(11)  Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; and it was so.

(12)  And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Ask them how a tree grows?  Ex :    seed ->   to a tree

Elohim desires us to be like a tree               YIELDING

Elohim tells how our life as a believer should be

Psalm 1:2-3

(2)  But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.

(3)  He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season,

Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

What kind of TREE? 

Ver 3

A tree that is planted:             where?             

RIVERS OF WATER

Take note: we need to be planted

Bringing fruits

Leaf shall not wither

In simple word: we will prosper

That means:

BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT

HOW CAN WE PROSPER?

è By meditating His Word

Joshua  1:1-9

PROMISES (ve 1-5)

(1)  After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it came to pass that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' assistant, saying:

(2)  "Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan,

you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.

(3)  Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.

(4)  From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.

We only look at until ver 5 and wonder why we don’t get it:

(6)  Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall Divide as an Inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

(7)  Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; DO NOT turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

(8)  This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

(9)  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

What happens when we meditate?

Ø  1)  RENEWAL OF MIND (to be Kingdom Minded)

Rom 12:1-2

(1)  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

(2)  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

·         Should not be conformed to this world

-Roman 8: 5-8

(5)For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh,

but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

(6)  For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

(7)  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

(8)  So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

·         Be transformed          -Kingdom Minded

I sam 16:7

… “For the LORD does not see as man sees;

for man looks at the outward appearance,

but the LORD looks at the heart."

When we think right, heart will be right!

Ø  2)  RESTORES/HEALS the HEART

Eph 5:26-27

v26  that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

v27  that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

è His Word -sanctifies and cleanses

-let His Word wash all the hinderance (idols) in our heart

(bible – should be the foundation)

è Why do we (heart)need to be washed/healed?

-Jesus presents us to Himself as glorious church (his bride)

                        not having spot or wrinkle

should be holy and without blemish.

3) BE A BELIEVER

There are 3 types of people:

-          Non believer

-          Christian

-          Believing Christian

What it takes to be a believer?

3a) Believer - WALKS BY FAITH

-2Co 5:7 (tamil bible is ver 6) For we walk by faith, not by sight.

-Psa 119:105

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

Why?

If you WALK looking at the circumstances,

We will make wrong decision (or STOP and not PRESS ON)

andtherefore we may sink like Peter during the storm.

We need to hold on to the Wordof God till we see it manifesting (hebrews 11:1)

Rom 10:17

(17)  So then FAITH comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

           

3b) Believer - WALKS IN POWER

Rom 1:16

-not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,

-KNOWS the word of God is the power of God

-SALVATION for everyone who BELIEVER

3c) Believer - WALKS IN OBEDIENCE

Mar 4:24-26

(24)  Then He said to them, "Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.

(25)  For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him."

(26)  And He said, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,

(Seed is sown for a tree to grow)

Ø   OBEY what you hear.

-With the same measure you use

it will be measured to you

-and to you who hear,

more will be given

Heb 5:8-9

HOW DID HE LEARN?Thru His suffering.

BECAUSE JESUS  HAD A LEARNING HEART -> HE  YEILDED:

·               He was perfect

- He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him

OBEDIENCE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS

Closure:

You will like a treein Psalm 1:2-3

becauseyou have a

Therefore because you have understood Elohim’s desires and obeyed Him,

-          You will be that big tree

God wants you to increase :

è mulitiply

Gen 1:27-28

(27)  So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

(28)  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

è "Be fruitful and multiply!”

To MULTIPLY I need to sow

the SEED (uncompramison/pure) Word of God

to another to GROW into a BIG HEALTHY TREE

In time I will see A BEAUTY GARDEN

Isaiah 58:11-12

(11)  The LORD will guide you continually,

And satisfy your soul in drought,

And strengthen your bones;

You shall be like a watered garden,

And like a spring of water,

whose waters do not fail.

(12)  Those from among

you Shall build the old waste places;

You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;

And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,

The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
